Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 stack of Saltine crackers (enough to cover a baking sheet)
- 1 lb package of white almond bark, melted
- 1/2 package of red candy melts, melted
- 1/2 package of pink candy melts, melted
- Valentine-themed sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Arrange Saltine crackers evenly over the foil-lined baking sheet to fully cover the surface.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together.
- Bring the mixture to a full boil, stirring continuously, and boil for 5 minutes until it turns a deep golden color and silky texture.
- Quickly pour the hot butter and sugar mixture evenly over the crackers, coating each cracker.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes to set the toffee.
- While baking, melt the white almond bark, pink candy melts, and red candy melts separately in microwave-safe bowls according to package instructions.
- Once baked, pour the melted white almond bark evenly over the toffee-coated crackers and spread with a spatula.
- Drizzle the melted pink candy melts over the white chocolate layer and swirl gently with a fork or spatula to create patterns.
- Drizzle the melted red candy melts over the same area and swirl similarly.
- Sprinkle Valentine-themed sprinkles on top before the chocolate hardens.
- Allow to cool completely until the chocolate is fully set and hard.
- Break into smaller pieces and enjoy.
