A creamy, classic spinach dip using Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix, sour cream, mayonnaise, spinach, water chestnuts, and green onions, perfect for parties and snacking.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix (or Leek Recipe Mix as substitute)
  • 10 oz frozen spinach OR 16 oz fresh spinach
  • 8 oz can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, and Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Prepare the spinach: if frozen, cook according to package instructions; if fresh, cook or sauté until wilted.
  3. Squeeze out all excess water from the cooked spinach and chop if using fresh; add to the mayo mixture.
  4. Drain and chop the water chestnuts.
  5. Slice the green onions.
  6. Fold the chopped water chestnuts and sliced green onions into the mixture.
  7. Stir everything together thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let flavors blend.
