- 3 Tbsp butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch square pan with aluminum foil, leaving an extra 2 to 3 inches over edges; lightly grease the foil.

- Gently fold in flour, green food coloring, baking powder, vanilla, and salt. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake 44 to 48 minutes. Insert toothpick in center; if it comes out with a few moist crumbs, done. Cool completely on wire rack (~2 hours).
- For frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar and salt, mixing until blended. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Use foil handles to lift brownies from pan, peel off foil, spread frosting evenly. Cut into 16 squares. Optional: add festive sprinkles.
Notes
For best baking results, use a metal cake pan for even baking and nice crust edges., McCormick green food coloring (bottle) recommended for vibrant green color; use entire bottle for bright color., If no chocolate chips, substitute 4-ounce bittersweet chocolate bar, chopped finely before melting., Brownies stay fresh 1-2 days in airtight container once cut; uncut brownies wrapped tightly keep up to 4 days., Brownies can be frozen uncut and unfrosted for up to 3 months; thaw before frosting and slicing.
