  • Yield: About 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 9 cups Chex cereal

  • spring/Easter sprinkles (quantity as desired)

  4. Place Chex cereal into a large bowl with a tight-fitting lid or use a large zip-top bag.
  5. Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the cereal.
  6. Seal the container and shake gently until cereal is evenly coated.
  7. Gradually add powdered sugar, cover, and shake until dusted evenly.
  8. Spread the coated cereal on parchment paper or a baking sheet to cool until the chocolate is no longer hot.
  9. Stir in Easter M&M’s and sprinkle with desired spring/Easter sprinkles.
  10. Allow the Bunny Chow to set completely before serving or packing.

Notes

Use white chocolate or candy melts as a sweeter, pastel-colored alternative., Swap peanut butter with sunflower seed butter or soy butter for peanut-free version., Add pretzel pieces, toasted shredded coconut, chopped nuts, or mini marshmallows for extra texture., Try cinnamon or almond extract instead of vanilla for flavor variations., Use gluten-free Chex cereal to make recipe gluten-free., Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days to keep crispy., For longer storage, freeze in a sealed bag for up to 1 month, then thaw before serving., Add M&M’s and sprinkles only after cooling to prevent color bleeding., Use short microwave bursts to avoid burning chocolate., Break up lumps gently by hand or shaking if cereal sticks together.
